Online banking with SAP S/4HANA

Connect SAP directly to your bank – with jbc.FTX

SAP S/4HANA offers the possibility of carrying out various business processes such as finance, sales and procurement on a single platform.

With jbc.FTX you connect your bank directly to your company and can communicate directly and securely.

Possibilities & functionality

Adapt your existing IT infrastructure to growing requirements.

Your SAP S/4HANA generates bank orders in ISO 20022 format as bank files. For example, payments initiation (pain) files for executing payments. These files are stored in a local exchange directory in your environment.

jbc.FTX reads these directories and transmits the data as an EBICS client to your bank and ensures that the bank can execute the order.

jbc.FTX retrieves statements and information from your bank and stores them as a file in the defined exchange directory. This means that the data can be imported directly from SAP without any detours.

Our program is not cloud-based and only requires the ability to communicate with your bank via EBICS. The data is stored exclusively on your machines.

Installation

EBICS bank accesses are set up via the jbc.FTX user interface. The key exchange with your bank must be set up in jbc.FTX before the first transfer.

Prerequisites

jbc.FTX works as a local Windows program and is executed in your environment on a machine, a VM is also possible. Batch scripts can be used for automation.

What is EBICS?

Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard (EBICS for short) is a standard that enables the secure exchange of financial transactions between banks and companies via the Internet.

A multi-level security concept, which is part of the standard, ensures safe transportation. This also includes end-to-end encrypted data transport. Business processes such as direct debits, bank transfers and much more reach the recipient securely.

What are camt.053 and ISO 20022?

The XML-based message format camt.053 (Bank to Customer Statement) is used as part of the ISO 20022 standard. It is used to transmit account statements and detailed account information. The internationally recognized standard facilitates communication between banks and customers in online banking. In financial management, camt.053 provides the most common format for all account postings and balances and supports transparent financial management. ISO 20022 is an international standard for electronic data transmission by financial institutions. It was published in 2013 and was described in the “ISO 20022 Financial Services – Universal Financial Industry Message Scheme”.
